Port Mann Bridge Replacement
The project consisted of building a new 12 lane bridge in place of the old bridge (demolished), widening of Highway 1 from the Cassiar Connector to 200th Street in Langley. The new bridge is 2.02 kilometres long, up to 65 metres wide, and carries 10 lanes of traffic. The bridge has 42 a metre clearance above the river's high-water level.

NHKS performed Quality Management services of auditing the project, suppliers and subcontractors.

Main Duties:

Conduct ongoing audits of the design/build contractor, attend as an observer of contractor’s audits of suppliers and subcontractors.

Conduct periodic and targeted site surveillance.

Review all QC test records, checklists, Material Inspection Reports, Material Receiving Reports, Work Method Statements and Hanover/Turnover documentation for each element at the end of the project.
